The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations and conducting analyses and testing of materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of results.Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures.
- Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal.
- Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday.
- Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
- Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant laboratory experience preferred
