CHS Sunflower has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grains and Processing Division. We are looking for a -Packaging Operations Coordinator -in our ready-to-eat sunflower processing facility on our -2nd shift -The - Packaging Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing development and execution of the facility automated packaging line. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented and have a continuous improvement mindset. -Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging line is taken care daily of by, preping it, adjusting it, changing out the product.
• Operating the machinery used for packaging products in the processing facility daily.
• Starting up and stopping the machine as necessary, including refilling packaging material.
• Performing routine checks to ensure that the machine is in an operable state.
• Executing preventative maintenance on the machine and maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the work area.
• Ensuring the correct packaging is used for specific product ranges and that packaging is done in line with the company standards.
• Inspecting final products.
• Reporting faulty packaging or problems on the machines to the relevant managers.
• Moving of completed boxes of products to the correct inventory area.
• Adhering to the safety regulations and protocol implemented in the packaging area.
• Completing all relevant documentation on the packing and maintenance of the packaging machines.Minimum Qualifications (required)
  
  • 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or ProductionAdditional Qualifications
    
    • High School diploma or GED preferred
    • Previous experience with packaging machinery/ automated -packaging line. -
    • A clear understanding of basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
    • Skillful in stock management and storage processes.
    • A clear understanding of health and safety standards and protocols.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Willingness to work in shifts.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
