Working with inexperienced new hires to provide hands on instruction, administer electronic testing, teach company and industry practices to meet code requirements. Provide quality assurance, mentor & share trade knowledge to grow the next generation of tradesmen.Duties/ Responsibilities:Lead, monitor, motivate and oversee apprentices to meet productivity and quality standards.Ensure work is being installed according to company, local and national codes.Communication via email & phone with area representatives and management.Maintain schedule to meet company and builder requirements.Complete payroll daily for each member.Consistently check for code compliance.All other position duties as assigned by management.Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for the apprentices.Required skills / Abilities:Proficient mechanical aptitude, ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment in a safe manner.Possess knowledge of the current code requirements and installation practices in residential new construction.Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and blueprints.Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.Excellent presentation skills, with demonstrated proficiency in presenting information clearly and effectively in both oral and written communication.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective problem-solving skills.Computer literacy skills and ability to communicate effectively.Must have a Valid Drivers License and clean MVR report.Education/ Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume residential new construction environment.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, climbing ladders and using hand tools.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Benefits:Competitive pay rates and paid EVERY Friday.Company Vehicle.Opportunity for advancementCompetitive benefits package 1stof the month after 30 daysHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Life Insurance and AD&DBasic Life Insurance Company Paid for ALL EmployeesEducational Assistance401k with a company match of 50% up to the first 4% of employee contributions, and paid vacation after 1 yearby Jobble More...
