Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a -Travel RN - Medical Surgical 3S Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, -12x3, 36 hours per week, EOW Length: 13-26 weeksMust be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.Requirements: - NC License
- 2 year of experience required in last 5 years
- Must be able to take heparin drips
- BLS
- Epic documentation experience required
- ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries preferredOther Details:

PCA. Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy. PICC line management, IV starts, *Active RN license required. Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care. *Epic documentation experience required.Certs: BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios)Shift: 12HR NIGHT. 36 Will accept 13-26 week contracts. **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holdingWeekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays. PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain. Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population). Subdural hematoma. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION:12 hour unit orientation. 16 hour organizational education.
