Description:The Product Support Specialist is responsible for the scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs of rental, lease, and contract trucks, tractors and trailers to ensure the safe and efficient running of the vehicles. Product Support Specialist is the liaison between the Lease/Rental Group and Service Department.SCHEDULE7:30am 5:00pm, Monday-Friday & on call for breakdown managementCORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Request, track and follow up to ensure maintenance is completed in a timely manner Review & process purchase orders for parts and service after receipt of all documents & forms Coordinate vehicle concerns and issues with Leasing, Service and Customer Ensure customer invoices are accurate and meets customer requirements Manage fleet maintenance report for accuracy and timely preventative maintenance Determine the need and benefits of out-sourcing vehicle repairs Audit recently completed PMs/repairs for completion and accuracy Ensure equipment records are maintained in accordance with federal, state and local laws, policies and regulations Request warranty, policy and goodwill if deemed reasonable Identify units that have open recalls and see those are completed in a timely manner Manage and monitor tire program Assist with rental reservation check ins and check outs and daily yard checkRequirements:QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates or Bachelors degree preferred 2 Years of related experience in lease/rental environment preferred Ability to comprehend the principles and practices of repair management and master skills in maintenance and business platforms Establish effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors Strong customer service and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as a team Required computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & and other business platforms as required)EMPLOYMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: TranSource employment application Drug Test & Background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsCompensation includes commission/bonus.by Jobble More...
