Job Description Miller - Charlotte, NCADM Milling CompanyThis is a Full Time Hourly positionPosition Summary:This position is responsible for shift operation of all milling units and will assist external departments as business needs arise. This position reports to the Mill Superintendent. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Prioritizing & maintaining a safe work environment - Only Zero Is AcceptableTotal commitment to people safety, food safety, quality, yield & efficiency and productivityWorking knowledge of all equipment, systems & processesResponsible for assisting in developing SOPsAssuring mill yield, production, and quality to meet plant needsMaintaining necessary mill documentation required for tracking mill production, quality, sanitation, and equipmentAssist in managing necessary spare parts, predictive & preventive maintenance programs to support efficient operationsWorking with in Company Safety & Work RulesThis position requires that the individual spend a majority of his/her time on the "mill floors" actively working with the Teams to improve safety, quality, efficiencies and productivityAbility to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces, work in extreme temperatures, and able to spend long periods of time on their feetThe candidate must show good hand dexterity and the ability to work with toolsCandidate needs to be able to work rotating shifts of 8 or 12 hoursHigh-school or equivalent preferred5 years of directly related experience preferredA high level of energy and enthusiasm coupled with ability to work on several detail oriented tasks that may be unrelatedThe ability to track inventory, make decisions and communicate efficiently with other departments is requiredThe individual must have a strong working knowledge regarding people safety, food safety, quality, yields/efficiencies and productionThe position requires "hands on" experienceMust be mechanically sound in the operation of these processes with a thorough understanding of predictive/preventive maintenance and have the necessary organizational skills to support the efficient operation of the processesThis individual must be a strong Team member and work proactively with associates, reports, peers and upperADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.REF:83737BR More...
