  Responsibilities:We are here to make people happy!! Carowinds associates are enthusiastic about their work because they create fun and memories to last lifetime! They are crucial to providing guests with a variety of engaging activities that reflect and uphold our core values of Integrity, Courtesy, and Inclusiveness.
  Qualifications:
  • Must possess and maintain a current and valid NC, SC, NR EMT certification.
  • Maintains a valid and current AHA CPR Healthcare Provider or MEDIC/ Mecklenburg County Focused CPR Certification.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid and current Driver's License.
  • Possesses 6 months to 1 year of leadership / supervisory experience in an amusement park first aid, emergency response agency or facility events oriented medical program.
  • Previous Carowinds experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • CPR Certification
