This is a customer facing role located within a clinic.Location: Onsite Gastonia, NCHours: This is a part time role with the potential for hours to expand as the pharmacy business grows. Periodic coverage for other technicians on PTO could also result in a need for additional hours. The current need is for a total of 8 hours per week over 2 half days- likely Monday and Friday of each week from 1PM-5PM.The Pharmacy Technician:Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.Assists Pharmacist in ordering and restocking of drugs.Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.May operate a cash register.Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.Follows standard policies/practices.Use your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsMust be a licensed Pharmacy Technician registered with the North Carolina Board of PharmacyPharmacy Technician experience that includes experience working in a retail settingThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/CenterWell's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
