Summary Statement:

Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for pressing seams following all established work, quality and safety procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Press the ends of the seam seal tapes to assure a proper seal.
• Notify supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures. Marginal Job Functions
  • Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
  • Participate in training and meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as apparent or as assigned Qualifications
    
    Working Conditions
    • Must be able to visually perform product inspections.
    • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
    • Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
      • Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
      • Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work, quality and safety procedures.
      • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
      • Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
