Our busy accounting firm is seeking an organized problem-solver to join our team as a Bookkeeper. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with full-charge bookkeeping. They will help our team oversee all financial transactions for each client company, including: payroll, recording transactions clearing bank throught software bank feeds, bank reconciliation, and some clients with accounts payable and receivables. Often we are reviewing the client's work, commenting (training) or correcting. If you're an experienced Bookkeeper, with a great work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience with accounting software, we'd love to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

--- Control the general ledger, and journal entries for accuracy, and prepare balance sheets and financial reports for review
--- Direct all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and oversee the accounts payables and receivables process
--- Responsible for both active payroll and passive (after the fact), using major services such as ADP, Gusto, or the like

Qualifications:

--- 5 years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
--- Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important
--- A high school diploma is required - an associate's degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred
--- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks
