Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Local Flex Team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Rochester Regional Health System. Our team is committed to upholding the core values of excellence, compassion, and safety in everything we do.
What You'll Do:
You'll be at the forefront of patient care, using your nursing skills and expertise to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in the ICU setting. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate to ensure the highest quality of care and safety standards are met for every patient.

Credentials required:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  
• Degree from an accredited Nursing School (Diploma or Associate degree accepted, Bachelor's preferred)
  
• Active, unencumbered, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New York State
  
• Additional certifications may be necessary based on the specific nursing specialty, including Ventilator Management and Hemodynamic Monitoring.
  
  Experience required:
  
  
  
  • Short Term Assignment (STA) RN: 18 months of experience as an RN in the ICU specialty, with critical care experience highly preferred.
    
  • Just in Time (JIT) RN: 24 months of experience as an RN in the ICU specialty, with critical care experience highly preferred.
