ABOUT THE ROLE The Peloton for Business team is focused on offering commercial fitness solutions to customers in hospitality, multi-family residential, universities, country clubs, public safety, and more. As a critical driver of out-of-home discovery, trial, and engagement, the commercial business represents an important growth channel for Peloton. In your role as Director, Distributor Sales, you will be responsible for managing Peloton's commercial equipment channel sales via our third-party commercial fitness distributor partners. You will build strong relationships across the distributor partner portfolio, and both equip and incentivize our distributor partners to grow sales. You're a self-starter that prioritizes impact, develops creative sales strategies, takes a customer-centric approach, and isn't afraid to wear multiple hats to get the job done. This role is highly cross-functional in nature and you will work across several teams at Peloton including Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, and Strategy. This role reports to the Senior Director of Commercial Sales, Partnerships, and Distribution and is part of the Peloton for Business organization. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON - Oversee and manage the existing commercial fitness distributor book of business in addition to onboarding new distributors, ensuring we are delivering against commitments and tracking towards forecast
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the distributor portfolio
- Develop sales strategies and identify areas of opportunity for distributors to meet and exceed their sales targets.
- Work with legal to negotiate deal terms on new distributor agreements and renewals.
- Manage distributor reporting and data-driven insights to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Peloton to ensure distributors have the right sales collateral, product knowledge, and support to seamlessly onboard customers.
- Manage reporting and communication on distributor incentive programs.
- Leverage distributor insights to inform product feedback and/or go-to-market strategies in key distributor verticals.
- Travel as needed to cultivate successful distributor relationships.
