Fox Hospital Oneonta,N*Unit Details: *-*BLS required *COVID vaccine not required, if candidate is vaccinated documentation is required, if they are not vaccinated declination is required**ASAP 07:00 PM-07:30 AM,13 weeks,36 hours guranteed ,2 years LPN exp med surg preffered **Documents* License, COVID card , BLS from AHA, Driver license, 2 Professional reference*A facility in Oneonta, NY is looking for a Med Surg LPN with at least 1 year of med surg LPN experience. The position will be in the facility's Observation room. BLS, Core I and II Exams, Specialty Exam- LPN and Specialty Skills Checklist are required. Patients are ones who come in that are anticipated to be discharged within 2 midnights. They are typically alert, oriented, and require minimal to no assistance with their ADLs. Simple joint post ops, chest pain work-up, abdominal pain, etc. Patients are typically of lower acuity. Higher acuity patients are transferred to the med surg unit as quickly as possible. Travel experience preferred. Caregivers cannot be from Otsego county. Caregivers are expected to make up any missed shifts within same pay period or following pay period, with the exception of mandated medical quarantine or at managers discretion. Two or more missed shifts will result in termination.
