Provide a short description of the Position: NYBE is requesting one (1) IT Specialist Expert HBITS resource to develop an enterprise electronic licensing systems using Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite, setup ESS scheduler to fetch the data from Oracle Service Cloud (OsVC), transform to Oracle SOA layer and passing the data to downstream state agencies for data processing as well as using the Microsoft ASP.Net technology to support Public Online eBiennial Filings, Public Inquiry DOS systems and developing, code review with PBIT vendor on 20 plus .NET APIs for back office CRM system to support Department of State DOS Corporation Modernization system, Department of Agriculture & Marketing Food Safety Inspection licensing system, SLA Back Office Licensing System, DOS Corporation Business Formation System that will all integrate with NY Business Express System.

Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: The consultant will be performing tasks including: --- Candidate will work on COVID related Chamber projects such as NYC Pause NYS Business Data and Complaint Data exchange between NYS and NYC. --- Candidate will work on legacy Documentum migration projects for the ongoing SLA PBITS and DOS AEB Documentum migration --- Candidate will support ongoing daily development tasks which involve Java, J2EE, ORM (Hibernate), Spring, Java Callout, Service call out, Exception handling, Security and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery --- Candidate will support ongoing daily development tasks which involve of Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XSLT, XSD, XPATH and related frameworks in Java like JAX-WS to support NYBE project that utilize the Service Oriented Architecture technology --- Candidate will develop Java application framework using WS Extensions specifications like WS-Security, WS-Coordination, WS-Policy, and guide/help the NYBE team to build a system that meets the SDLC requirements --- Candidate will work with the Splunk team, leverage the COO standard monitoring tool - Splunk application, monitor the NYBE applications on daily basis, to query the events and logs. Detect the system bugs with unexpected outages. --- Candidate will work with Jenkins, help the NYBE team to build automated deployment scripts using POM.XML, and working with ITS COO Middleware team to streamline the deployment process. --- Candidate will configure and maintain applications in WebLogic application server. --- Candidate will work with NYBE Architect to create contracts, onboard and monitoring services in service governance tool such as AKANA and provide KT to the NYBE state staff --- Candidate will provide daily knowledge Transfer to state staff which will include object-oriented analysis, design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology --- Candidate will work closely with the NYBE SOA team to implement and processing License transactions for DOS, DTF, DOL, WCB, Gaming, DOH agencies and continue to implement and process licenses for future releases. --- Candidate will develop modern web applications using Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.js Front End technology along with Microsoft .NET Framework using C#, ASP.NET and Java J2EE Back End technology --- Work with the team to meet project goals and objectives. --- Work with business analysts to understand requirements. --- Develop applications and system integration through SDLC, including designing, performing proof of concept, developing and testing. --- Work on various components of Portal and Back Office processing programs. --- Create accurate and timely documentation for specifications, design documents, test cases and knowledge transfer. --- Work closely with customers to create and support business workflow and background data processing. --- Work with other team members and customers on data conversion and migration. --- Provide production support as required. --- Work as a team member in a problem-solving environment. --- Work as a peer with other developers. --- Candidate will troubleshoot or improve any public facing high profile web applications performance tuning under the highly stressed environment as needed More...
