DescriptionUS Bank Climate Risk Management - VPFirm Risk Management -Firm Risk Management (FRM) supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, model and other risks.Background of the PositionFirm Risk Management's U.S. Bank's Enterprise Risk and Governance (ERG) department and is responsible for managing Reputation, Strategic and Concentration Risks, managing the Bank's Risk Governance Framework, Board reporting and Regulatory Management processes. The U.S. Banks provide an array of banking services and loans to individuals and institutions. The role will reside within Bank Risk Management's Climate Risk Management Team. The candidate will be responsible for helping to build out the Climate Risk Framework and oversee Climate Risk for the U.S. Banks. This role will require the individual to coordinate climate risk management activities across multiple stakeholders across the Firm. This individual will have people management responsibilities as well. Primary Responsibilities> Partner with teams across the Morgan Stanley, to buildout the Climate Risk Framework> Coordinate activities across both First and Second lines of Defense. > Lead discussions with executives across Morgan Stanley> Manage climate risk working groups> Present materials to the U.S Banks Climate Risk Committee> Represent the U.S. Banks in various Climate Risk Forums#LI-JB3QualificationsExperience> Bachelor's degree required> Experience with Climate Risk or ESG> Credit / Market Risk experience within a financial services setting is preferred > Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively> Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, > Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise across diverse stakeholder groups including senior management and large firm networks> Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently and manage multiple projects> Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to 'roll up sleeves'Expected base pay rates for the role will be between -$110,000 -and $190,000 year -at the commencement of employment. - However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Morgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
