Our client is a well-known NYS housing organization which specializes in providing housing for single parents, couples, and those in extreme need. They are currently looking for a Director of Social Services to join their team.*Responsibilities:** Manage and supervise the Social Services Department* Oversee or monitor all clinical provisions of the program for clients* Assesses and coordinates Social Services staff training needs* Assesses, coordinates, and facilitates staff training* Provide back-up administrative coverage in the absence of the Program Director as needed* Monitors and ensures the accuracy of employee timekeeping and payroll systems* Ensures timely evaluations of social service staff, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions as needed* Conduct and facilitate meetings as needed*Requirements:** Bachelors Degree in Social Services, Social Work, or any other related field* Masters Degree preferred* Minimum of (5) years of experience in social services* Proficient in child/adolescent development on a emotional and behavioral level and family dynamics---Please note- The annual base salary range is $65k to $75k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
