The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work in our Acute Adult Inpatient Unit.

- Provide psychiatric care to patients on inpatient units, with the goal of stabilization, education and linkage to care
- Works collaboratively with the Attending Psychiatrist
- Educate and mentor junior medical staff and students Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Master's Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
- Licensed to practice as a NYS Nurse Practitioner with Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Active X-Waiver Preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting.
