Job Summary

The Finance Manager will report into the Director of Agency Operations and will support the day-to-day financial needs of the agency. This role will be responsible for a mix of both client finance and operational agency finance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, work well with little supervision and demonstrate the ability to create efficient processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun and exciting environment for a fast-paced company in the advertising industry .

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and prepare monthly revenue functions on recognition, forecasting, variance analysis and commentary, and intercompany agreements and billing.

  • Manage department vendor relations

  • Supervise reconciling billing of advertisers/agencies and payments to clients/vendors in order to run monthly client billing meetings

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports/statements, etc.

  • Manage collections of accounts receivable

  • Manage the analysis of monthly client revenue/cost analysis packages

  • Manage the development and use of tools for data analysis of day-to-day agency activities (i.e., Pivots, Vlookups, complex IF functions, date functions, etc.)

  • Complete special projects as needed



    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of finance management experience or similar experience



      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

      • A minimum of four years of finance experience (preferably agency-related) is a plus

      • Knowledge of small business practices

      • An understanding of financial statements and general ledgers

      • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal

      • Superior computer skills and comfort with MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)

      • Excellent organizational skills

      • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines

      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

      • Independent thinker who can help create efficient processes

      • Ability to work with minimal supervision



        Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York as set forth below.
