For this role, we believe your starting point is: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Familiarity and experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D a plus) and/or ArcGIS is a plus
- Ability to perform field work (inspections and field oversight)
- OSHA 40-hour training and up to date 8-hour refresher or ability to obtain
- Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain preferred, on track for PE is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability, creative thinking, and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Good interpersonal skills, customer focus, and strong ability to work both independently and effectively in teams.
- Eagerness to continue learning and a commitment to improvement and professional growth.
- The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. In certain situations, this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels, to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals.
