Accident Attorney - Jericho, NYOur client specializes in representing clients in cases involving Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Worker's Compensation, Mass Tort, and more. They are currently seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their team of highly-rated attorneys. This is a full-time position based in the office.Main Responsibilities:Manage a caseload, attend court, negotiate settlements, oversee trial preparation, conduct trials, and participate in mediations and arbitrations.Advise clients on claim liability and legal rights, and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.Conduct depositions and respond to discovery demands.Ability to conduct discovery and draft motions.Gather evidence through client and witness interviews to initiate and support legal actions.Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for case presentation.Stay updated on job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.Main Requirements:The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of documented plaintiff personal injury trial experience and be licensed to practice law in the state of New York.Prior experience on the Plaintiff side with Personal Injury.Strong attention to detail.This is a 5-day-a-week position based in the office.Salary is between $100,000 - $130,000 (DOE) plus compensation on all settled cases you bring in.
