The Epic Ambulatory lead has oversight into the ambulatory areas and manage the integration of clinical and operational areas for a project team. Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : Bachelor Degree Minimum Years of Experience : 7 year(s) Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Master Degree Preferred Certifications: Certifications in Epic Ambulatory module(s) Functional Experience: - Participate in implementation strategies
- Provide conversion support
- Troubleshoot and remedy solution-related problems
- Participate in training and conversion plan development and execution
- Help develop and execute system downtime and recovery procedures
- Gain clear understanding of project goals and objectives as well as clinicians' requirements to ensure optimal use of the solutions
- Participate in design activities related to the solutions
- Provide solution and process knowledge in support of system design, process reengineering and training plan development
- Work with team to develop and execute unit, system and integration test plans
- Support end-user training
- Participate in conversion planning and participate as a member of the conversion team
- Identify the specialty workflow and assists in defining a standardized work process
- Participate on steering committees or advisory groups
- Identify goals and objectives, measures, and the report format for assessing process improvement
- Assist in the design of the electronic health record
- Facilitate stakeholder review of the solutions
- Provide clinical or operational expertise to the design team through participation in live design sessions and the completion of post design follow up work
Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success with an understanding of managing client engagements and producing solutions that involve, the following areas: - Providing healthcare provider physician practice operations subject matter specialization in clients engagements related to improving the efficiency of healthcare providerphysician practice organizations, as well as identifying strategic opportunities for growth;
- Understanding of key operational and financial drivers of success within how physician practice finances affect the financial position of a healthcare Provider organization;
- Managing client engagements or healthcare in physician practice operations leadership and producing solutions;
- Understanding the latest industry trends and regulatory changes, and their impact to organizations;
- Having knowledge of assessment of healthcare provider physician practice operating models, including strategy, capabilities, operational performance and governance models and compensation plan design;
- Understanding quality reporting requirements; - Implementing and optimizing various physician alignment models; and,
- Benchmarking to compare healthcare providerphysician practice performance and costs to leading practice, including operational results, productivity, and quality metrics.
Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs: - Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
- Communicating value propositions, utilizing PC applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Tools to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients;
- Managing resource requirements, project workflows, budgets, billing and collections; and,
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
