If you are soulful, and passionate with a sincere interest in changing and improving the human shopping experience, join us.The OpportunityAs a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will build the primary products that define the livestream shopping experience we are creating, including a mobile app for consumer and a web app for brands and influencers. You will develop a multi-sided platform to change the way people shop today bringing together brands, consumers, and influencers in an engaging and entertaining way. You will be part of the team responsible for building the product roadmap and collaborate with product, design and commercial teams to define our holistic product vision.As you are building our overall tech product, you will contribute across the technology stack, including database design, shared services, front-end frameworks, application development and deployment. You will require experience using cloud platforms and ensuring teams through ownership of DevOps practices. You will report to the Tech Lead.This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York, NY. You will be in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.Your ImpactIndependently develop, configure & test code during feature development, but still collaborating with other developers and Tech Lead to solve technical challenges and remove any impediments.Guide product development with engineering excellence and best coding practicesParticipate in design review sessions to weigh in on technical feasibility, acceptance criteria and testing for featuresCollaborate with Product Owners, Design Leads and other partners on acceptance criteria, technical feasibility, and product feature details.Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of test-driven development using unit, integration, and automated end-to-end testsPromote and unblock teams by working through and removing unnecessary activities such as code compilation, test execution and artifact promotion across environments leading to production.Coach peers on tech team, specifically with code reviews and pair programmingCollaborate with team members to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and requirements working with the design and commercial teamsWork iteratively with team on improvements to the SDLC processes, estimating backlog items during refinement and planning sessionsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent work experience3+ years relevant experience with master's degree OR 5+ years' experience with bachelor's degreeRequired technical experience: Java Spring Boot, Azure DevOps, PostgreSQL, React Native, React, TypeScriptExperience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, scalable applications, application securityWorking knowledge of technical architecture, application landscape, test and deployment automation and IT environment, and tools used in development, deployment, and testing.Contribute to the development of plans, provide estimates, identify important milestones, and raise important issues such as technical contracts or resource needs and proposes alternative solutions.Experience in Agile Development (XP, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)Comfort with making architecture decisions at a team and product level.Experience with the ability to align an organization on complex technical decisions.Experience looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution.Belief in a culture of trust and complete transparency#LI-LC4 #LI-HybridCandidates looking for an exciting start-up environment and growth opportunities with earning potential - based on the success of the new organization - this is the company for you! Our compensation package is a combination of base salary, short-term annual bonus, long-term cash-based incentives and a Founder's Bonus for initial team members. Base salary for this role ranges from $130,000-$160,000 plus the annual and long-term variable incentives noted. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications and geographic location and business and market conditions.
