This opportunity is for an Accounting Associate within a global financial institution. Client Details
The client is a highly reputable international banking group.
Description
Perform daily/monthly monitoring and reconciliations and month-end book closing and prepare various financial statements and reports including quarterly reports to Head Office.
Respond to requests and inquiries from other departments/units, Head Office and auditors and establish necessary operations to comply with the requirements.
Perform researches on accounting standards and accounting treatment of existing/new products and transactions.
Provide support to other members of the Unit, especially covering team member's tasks during their PTO.
Profile
-3-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Experience with Excel and Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge of banking products: Loans, deposits, etc.
- Accounting degree or similar preferred
