Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Legal Assistant to support a legal team during a period of increased workload. The ideal candidate will assist with various administrative tasks and legal research to ensure efficient operation within our legal department.This role will require working in office Monday through Friday, offering a 40 hour work week.   • Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal team members.
  • Assist in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and hearings for attorneys.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for trials and depositions.
  • Assist in proofreading and editing legal documents for accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.Profile
    • Proven experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary is preferred.
    • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Discretion when handling confidential information.
    • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in legal studies is a plus.Job Offer
