Role profile: - This newly crafted role will provide HR leadership in the Americas and will report to the Group Leader of Country People Partnering in Americas!
- Will partner closely with our divisionally aligned Business People Partners (BPP), Centres of Excellence, and People Operations teams to design and lead on the execution of the Country Colleague Plan (CCP) across the country/region, aligned to our divisional / functional people plans. Key Responsibilities: One LSEG in country
- Be responsible for the creation and execution of the Country Colleague Plan and partner with the local leadership team(s) to activate the People strategy for the country / countries.
- Develop new ways of working to unlock enterprise value and lead the One Company in Country" approach, driving the LSEG employment brand in the country / cluster.
- Harness strategies which create an inclusive culture and practices where colleagues are empowered to deliver their best performance every day.
- Partner with Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to define and implement global solutions, balancing consistency with local relevance.
- Partner with the local leadership team to lead crisis response activities including communications to the Executive Committee (ExCo), the People function leadership team (PLT) and local colleagues Local change management and performance
- Partner with the Global Business People Partners and COEs to deliver functional / business change in the country / countries in line with LSEG values and policies.
- Lead all aspects of delivery and implementation of core People initiatives in country (e.g., colleague voice strategy, DEI targets, performance and reward frameworks and succession planning), utilising other People Function teams and CoEs as needed, balancing consistency with local relevance.
- Apply local knowledge and expertise to identify appropriate People function programmes, challenge and make recommendations on current People function practices in order to reflect business requirements in country. Location Talent Planning
- Partner with the Global Business People Partners and COEs to identify and build the talent pipeline in the country / countries in critical capability segments to fuel business momentum.
- Create and implement the talent strategy for key talent segments in the country, partnering with the Global Business People Partners and COEs as needed.
- Strengthen people leader capabilities through a country level development agenda focused on targeted skill development and learning.
- Influence as a talent broker for local and global talent moves, in partnership with the Global Business People Partners.
- Support the Senior Leadership talent review process to provide local insight to the Global Business People Partners and COEs. Employee Engagement & Advocacy
- Own and enable the end-to-end colleague experience at a country level, ensuring LSEG is advancing as a leading organisation and employer of choice in the geography.
- Coach people leaders at GG16 and below to ensure they are equipped and able to deliver against ongoing people management requirements.
- Create and implement country engagement initiatives to embed an inclusive culture.
- Represent the voice of the colleague and the needs of the country to the wider organisation.
- Partner with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) CoE to appropriately evolve global solutions and initiatives to align with country norms and expectations. Employee Development
- Identify the collective development needs of the local teams through talent reviews, leadership insights and colleague feedback.
- Create a development strategy for the broader colleague population as well as specific plans for addressing the needs of the high potential talent using centrally created solutions.
- Partner with the global COEs to ensure that global strategies and approaches are inclusive of geographic needs. HR Operations
- Partner with Global People Operations & Delivery team to deliver HR processes successfully and efficiently in a compliant manner.
- Maintain compliance with local HR policies, workforce laws and regulations. Skills and experience
- Degree or equivalent experience and / or relevant vocational qualification
- Knowledge of evolving local employment legislation and labour compliance in country
- Ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organization in a global organization
- Strong influencing and communication skills, able to cascade complex messages in simple form, and ensure colleagues can see how what they do day to day supports the company strategic priorities and direction
- Solid understanding of the location talent landscape, pipeline and labour market
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically, and flex between the big picture view and the detailed execution Location
