• As Smardt's Plattsburgh factory is expanding there is great growth opportunity! Job purpose:
  
  To assemble, wire, and install electrical items and panels.
  
  Duties and responsibilities
  • Perform installation of electrical control and power panels
  • Carry out panel mounting and internal/external wiring
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Review and prepare components for assembly
  • Layout and wire electrical assemblies in accordance with schematics
  • Handle from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG DLO cable Qualifications
    • 1-3 years of electrical assembly or related experience
    • HVAC experience (preferred)
    • Post-secondary education or related experience.
    • Understanding of electrical fundamentals
    • Attention to detail and meticulous
    • Mechanical skills and manual dexterity
    • Able to work alone, autonomous, and resourceful
    • Working written/verbal communication skills (English/French)
    • Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment
    • Good reasoning skills and sound judgement
    • Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds Education requirement:
