Responsibilities:Assessment of patient's, families and community health needsActive role in interviewing and case findingPerform initial interviews, assessment and preparation of patientsExecute medical regimens as prescribed by the practitionerAssist practitioners with patient care, on- and off-siteMaintain quality nursing care, nursing notes and plansPerform necessary nursing procedures, i.e., injectionsProvide patient education and counselingTraining and supervision of volunteers, paraprofessionals, and the licensed practical nurseBe familiar with emergency procedures and protocolsBe familiar with Clinical policies and programsBe familiar with referral procedures and back-up sourcesBe familiar with lab procedures and back-up laboratoriesCoordinate and direct patient flow during clinical sessionsCoordinate special clinical programs as neededParticipate and coordinate on- and off-site screening projectsAssist with the compilation of health statisticsAct as the patient's advocate and liaison for preservation of patient's rightsPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New YorkBasic CPR (BCLS) Certification requiredOne to two years of experience in professional nursingBilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) requiredCompensation and Benefits:Salary: $50.00 - 60.00 per hour403 (b) retirement savings planby Jobble More...
