Role: SSIS Developer

Location : New York

Rate: $50/Hr

JOB SUMMARY

To own technical deliverables for the assigned module team. Responsible for the overall quality, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of delivery. Contribute to design, development, testing, task estimation and scheduling. Review code and design deliverables from the junior developers.

Represent the module team in status and review meetings with management and client stakeholders

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary :

# PL SQL and SSIS position supporting database related development

# ETL development knowledge

# Experience in SSIS packages from multiple sources and scheduling the jobs

# Should have skills on PL SQL Stored Procedures, Views, triggers etc.

# Data Warehouse concepts such as Fact Dimensions

# SQL Stored Procedure p erformance tuning

# Main areas of responsibility: Develop complex queries and stored procedures using PL SQL

# Experience in SSIS packages

# SSIS development, Experience in SSIS packages from multiple sources and scheduling the jobs

Secondary : .Net Knowledge

Main areas of responsibility:

# Develop complex queries and stored procedures using PL SQL

# SSIS Development

# Evaluate large and complex data sets

# ssist application developers in refining complex queues and performance tuning

# Createt ables, assign permissions, import data, perform app configurations, etc.

# Write and maintain technical documentation

# Manage source code versioning and deployments

# Stay knowledgeable with the latest advances in SQL Server and other data technolog ies

# Perform Code reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

# Good development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures and complex queries

# Working knowledge of the P&C Insurance domain

# Demonstrate skill and ability in interfacing progra mmatically with a variety of enterprise systems

# Familiarity with source code management systems
