Come be part of our dynamic team!Job SummaryThe OUTFRONT Intern, Product Data Governance will support the establishment of OUTFRONT's Data Governance policies, data procedures, and data definitions for the product data domain. With a main goal of improving OUTFRONT's product data quality, the Intern will: - Support the establishment of data definitions for the product domain;
- Participate in the product data cleansing and entry processes;
- Ensure adherence to product data processes, business rules and workflows; and,
- Support the product data lifecycle from initiation to activation.This is an exciting opportunity for the Intern to learn more about OUTFRONT's products and selling framework! Follow product data lifecycle (inventory creation and maintenance, product building, contracting), learn about the types of products OUTFRONT supplies, and help improve OUTFRONT's data quality.The Intern will also be given the opportunity to see a project from start to finish: record upkeep of the Product Catalog. The Intern will review specific product data attributes used across OUTFRONT's markets, identify areas of data quality improvement, and import cleansed product data into the system.Your Role
- Working closely with the Product Data Steward, quickly come up to speed on the data governance policies and definitions for the product data domain.
- Use strong data and analytic skills to identify gaps between OUTFRONT's current product data and the future data structure for Sales Products and packages.
- Use Excel to analyze existing data and make quick recommendations on the future data structure.
- Become familiar with OUTFRONT's data definitions and data domains
- Review existing data for specified fields, identify areas of data messiness, and propose future state cleansed data for upload into OUTFRONT's systems
- Excel Skills: pivot tables, sorting
- Supports and exhibits behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of OUTFRONT Media
- Acts with diplomacy as a representative of OUTFRONT Media
