Learn more about Sandia at: http://www.sandia.gov*These benefits vary by job classification.What Your Job Will Be LikeOrganization 03262, Leadership and Organizational Development, is currently seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Organizational Development Professional to join their dynamic team!This organization is a group of passionate professionals that create and implement leadership and organizational development (OD) initiatives across the entire labs.On any given day, one may be called upon to:Coach, manage, and facilitate leadership development learning at all levels of the organizationLead assessments of skill levels, knowledge, and training needs, and utilize results to create and facilitate leadership development programsProvide input and direction on content design/development; partner on identification of success metrics prior to program implementation and provide post-implementation feedback to ensure continuous improvementMay partner with other human resources professionals to develop, assess, facilitate, or lead Organizational Development interventions, programs, and processes to support business objectives.Supports and participates in strategic initiatives, cross-functional groups, and projects which contributes organizational successStay current on emerging trends and research best practices to ensure development, continuous improvement, and use of innovative solutions in developing leaders and teamsMeasure and assess the effectiveness of programs to ensure return on program investmentsFacilitate other requests as neededThe selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.Salary Range$78,000 - $150,000*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.Qualifications We RequireA Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Learning, or a related field; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job10 years experience of Leadership Development and/or Organizational Development in a corporate environment5 years leadership experience leading people and projectsThe ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L-level security clearanceQualifications We DesireA Master's degree or PhD in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Organizational LearningThe ability to apply technologies such as e-learning, videos, podcasts, mobile learning, and social learning as appropriateAn International Coaching Federation (ICF) or Board Certified Coach (BCC) coaching certificationDemonstrated experience applying assessment tools and resultsExceptional communication and presentation skillsExperience supporting large-scale change initiatives and interventionsThe ability to build trust with key customers, influence senior leaders, and build partnerships with teams with competing prioritiesStrong organizational and project management skills; the ability to lead highly visible and complex initiatives without the direct ownership of resourcesThe ability to synthesize and distill information into recommendations in a constantly evolving and ambiguous environmentThe ability to think both at the strategic and operational level to develop actionable plans and recommendationsAn active DOE L-level security clearance; or other equivalent active security clearance such as DOD SecretAbout Our TeamThe Leadership and Organizational Development department is responsible for the execution of talent planning, developing, designing, instructing and administering management and leadership training requirements, and developmental needs lab wide. We provide administrative and logistical support to the management and leadership staff in the development and presentation of training programs, workshops, and other activities to meet the educational and developmental needs of the organization. We also provide administrative support of instructional systems design, delivery, and talent planning process to ensure a continuing quality program that meets the needs of the organization.Posting DurationThis posting will be open for application submissions for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days, including the posting date.
