Summary The NMO Tech III will be assisting with advanced testing, troubleshooting, repairing and refurbishing while demonstrating and advanced understanding of the sub-systems and the interconnectivity between main systems involved for their projects. This position also supports engineering, prototypes, development or production requirements for primarily low volume/high mix of electronic, mechanical or software related products while demonstrating advanced understanding of workmanship standards and role model characteristics.Duties and Responsibilities - Demonstrates advanced level of experience across many different aspects of the field they support.
- Demonstrates unique electrical/mechanical skills and abilities.
- Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to accurately record results.
- Learns from project leads/subject matter experts while demonstrating technical aptitude.
- Uses equipment, techniques, and tools necessary to complete tasks.
- Possess ability to efficiently navigate FM&T portal or other shared information and locate key applications or documentation when required.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively engage with FM&T customers and represent the company in a positive light.
- Understands and role models use of the core elements of Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).
- Demonstrates ability to consistently be self-directed and work individually, or within a team while understanding the priorities of the business to consistently make day-to-day decisions.
- Assists engineers and other technicians with a variety of tasks/responsibilities within work area.You Must Have
- Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two- or four-year technical degree.
- 4+ years experience in a related technical role.
- US Citizenship is required and must have or be able to obtain a DOE Q clearanceWe Value
- Some positions within this classification may require unique electrical, mechanical, and/or electronic skills and abilities.
- Formal training or practical experience equivalent to technical knowledge obtained in military training courses or through a two or four year technical degree.
- IPC-A 610 certification (Inspection standard electronics)
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification(Practices and requirements for the manufacture of cable, wire, and harness assemblies)
- J-STD-001 certification (Standards soldering on electrical and electronic assemblies)
- Ability to read, interpret and understand electronic drawings.
- Experience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)Additional Information
