We have an exciting opportunity as a paralegal in a well-known Government agency. This person will be responsible for a variety of tasks in support of ongoing litigation and pending cases. Responsibilities include seeking nd locating sources of information, in aid of civil investigations and trials by contact or correspondence with other departments and/or agencies of federal, state and local government; gathering factual material independently; reading, annotating, and summarizing transcripts, files and other factual aspects of the case; and obtaining financial and statistical information, agency records, court records and other public records; analyzing documents and draft factual memoranda.. This person will also perform specialized detailed legal research as necessary.



This position requires a paralegal certificate. Experience working with such electronic databases as Concordance and Sanctions for the organization and presentation of evidence is needed. Qualified candidates must have at least one year of litigation paralegal experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and thorough knowledge and hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications is a must.
