A packer/sorter also known as a "Cell Operator" performs an array of functions including but not limited to packing, sorting and inspecting parts. Shifts Available for Immediate Hire:2nd shift: 3:30pm - 11:40pm 3rd shift: 11:30pm - 7:40am GGB by Timken is a manufacturer of high performance bearings. The position will be in a union environment. The current hourly rate is $24.70 with an additional $1.58 shift differential when working on 2nd or 3rd shift. Job Duties Include:

Hand Deburring Parts one at a time to ensure each part passes quality inspection Machine Deburring Parts by placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to endWashing Parts placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to endVisual inspection of parts to ensure each part passes quality inspection Packing parts into boxes
• Systemic Posting and tracking orders within SAP
• Able to operate standards in Safety
• Responsible for consistent part quality and ability to interact positively with team members to obtain that quality & product flow
• Housekeeping to 5s standards
• Attention to Detail Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds
