At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Central Scheduler/MRI patient Coordinator to join our team in the Diagnostic Center.



The primary responsibility of the Central Scheduler is:

• Practice MR Safety and screening patients prior to entering the magnetic field.
  
• Safely transporting patients
  
• Order Entry for Lab and Radiology
  
• Result retrieval and report printing
  
• Quick registration for Lab
  
• Scan Providers notes and Consent forms
  
• Phone operating-screener for multiple departments
  
• Check EMR for all laboratory and radiology orders
  
• Making CD's of patient images as required
  
  
  
  
  Ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications
  
  
  
  
  • Required CPR certification
    
  • Excellent patient care and compassion skills
    
  • Medical terminology recommended
    
  • Insurance knowledge required
    
  • Working in a hospital (or scheduling) setting for 1-2 years recommended
