- Listen, be curious, and allow differences to influence our decisionsThis opportunity is to work with members of Contracts Team within the Advanced Compact Electronic Warfare Systems (ACES) Product Line within the Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area for the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector. This Principal Contracts Administrator role will provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment managing your own contracts as an independent contributor while working alongside other Contract professionals who are actively supporting numerous contracts and multiple millions of dollars of ongoing proposal activity. This role involves interfacing with all levels of management and functions (Program Office, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.) within BAE Systems as well as with our USG Customers and some commercial customers. This role will include mostly development support, but may include Production type contracts as well as other assignments and responsibilities as needed.Location: This position is located in Nashua, NH. As a Principal Contracts Administrator, you will work with internal team members and our customers to shape and close business opportunities in concert with internal objectives for the ACES Product Line.Daily responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently supporting complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Interacting with the team to gather, interpret, analyze, and develop recommended strategies and present information.
- Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and customer requirements.
- Preparing, negotiating and managing complex proposals and contracts.
- Providing guidance to Program, Engineering and Operation teams on government and commercial contracting methods for military equipment while protecting our Intellectual Property rights.
- Cross functional collaboration with Program Management, Finance, Operations, Quality and Export teams.Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. It requires being in the office 2-3 days each week, with the ability to provide remote support the other 2-3 days.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
