• Reporting into the VP directly
• Managing the preconstruction & construction process (and documents) alongside appropriate counterparts
• Reviewing the terms and conditions of contracts
• Developing staffing and equipment plans that identify resources needed
• Hosting project meetings at least once a week
• Visiting project sites at least once a week
• Managing deadlines and making sure timelines are met
• Coordinating with the owner, design consultants, and subcontractorsProfileThe right Project Manager will have:
  • Project management experience in the commercial construction industry (3+ years)
  • Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related construction (preferred)
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, & scheduling
  • Effective leadership skills to successfully lead people and get results through others
  • Ability to organize, think ahead, plan, and manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Strong relationship building & managing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
