Day Shift (5 am - until done)Monday - FridayJOB SUMMARY Partner with other receiving team members to receive deliveries, breakdown and sort pallets, stock shelves, fill bulk orders, and maintain stocking area. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY no ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Break down and sort pallets. Cut box-tops and rotate stock. Stock shelves, pick bulk orders.Maintain tags, location stickers, and stocking area. Load and unload trucks. Partner with the warehouse team and take direction from supervisors to ensure efficiency. Safely and competently operate a forklift, all required technology, and any other materials handling equipment in the warehouse. Will perform all tasks safely and to the best of their ability and complete tasks in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Must understand and follow warehouse practices and procedures. Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Must be physically able to access all areas of the warehouse. Must be open to receiving on-the-job training by supervisory personnel. Must be able to report to work on time and ready to work as well as work overtime when requested. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.1 year experience doing similar work preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift and transport a minimum of 30 lbs. on a consistent basis and up to 70 lbs. intermittently. Must be able to stoop, twist, bend squat, kneel, reach at, below or above the shoulder. Must be able to walk and stand on concrete floors up to 12 or more hours per day. Maintain performance in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standards.
