Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to support a large Government ContractThis position will be the senior security person supporting a large cloud hosting environment to ensure a secure migration and operation of the client's cloud hosting environmentThe selected candidate will be expected to lead and direct the program's security efforts which include: legacy applications will be modernized and moved into the cloud hosting environment under an Agile DevSecOps methodology utilizing continuous development and testing during the modernization process, to include migrating to multiple cloud service providersResponsible for the design, development, and implementation of both short and long-term solutions to organization and/or customer information technology needs through new and existing applications, system architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructureEmployees design, develop, implement, and oversee IT products including but not limited to hardware, software, and networksEmployees may install, configure, administer, upgrade, and maintain security for the organization and/or the customers the organization supportsThe Cloud Security Architect's primary responsibilities include:
--- Collaborate with Government Stakeholders to gather requirements.
--- Design, document and implement security protocols with AWS and other potential Cloud Service Providers.
--- Develop platform security plan deliverables.
--- Ensure appropriate security monitoring, auditing and reporting is applied enterprise-wide.
--- Implement software security scanning policies as one part of software pipelinePosition is Remote with some travel to customer sites expectedQualifications Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D--- Experience with standards such as FedRamp, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
--- Experience with - AWS CloudTrail - Sonarqube - Twistlock
--- Working in an Agile Software Development environment
--- Zero Trust Security Strategy
--- Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; or Equivalent Experience.
--- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years experience with MS, 8 years with PhD
--- US Citizenship required
--- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
--- Current Security+ Certification Desired Qualifications
--- CISSP Certification
--- AWS Solutions Architect, Associate or related certification
--- ITIL v4 Certification
