Youll work with seasoned commercial bankers to conduct comprehensive financial analysis for commercial loan requests ranging from $250K to $50 Million by researching key underwriting criteria including loan structure, cash flow, collateral competition and industry considerations.Essential FunctionsConduct comprehensive financial analysis for commercial loan requests ranging from $250K to $50 Million by researching key underwriting criteria including loan structure, cash flow, collateral competition and industry considerationsPrepare credit packetsResearch and understand loan documentation and various bank systemsSubmit work for feedback and analysisPrepare financial spreads and other credit related items as neededPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredIntermediate knowledge of basic financial concepts and financial statementsIntermediate understanding of financial statements and key financial ratios such as leverage and debt service coverageExcellent analytical skills utilizing financial and accounting principlesAbility to work overtime as neededMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required2+ years related financial services experience requiredPrevious banking experience preferred** Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles.
