Remote PB Medical Coder - Saint Louis Missouri

Must Haves:

• CPC Certification REQUIRED
• Experience coding in one of the following specialties:
• OB (Can take 2 subs here)
• Radiology - MRI/CT/PET and simple diagnostics (Can take 4 subs here)
• Anesthesia - preferably trained on critical care (Can Take 2 subs here)
• Neurosciences - Neurosurgery and Neurology, primarily EM but would be great to have surgery background as well (Can take 2 subs here)
• Experience handling a volume of 45-60 cases per day
• Looking for coders that are very experienced, have strong knowledge and can recite different modifiers (will be asked this and other technical interviews on the interview)Plusses:

  • Experience with audits/passing auditsDay-to-Day:Insight Global is searching for Experienced PB/Pro Fee Medical Coders to support one of our largest healthcare clients in the Southeast. These individuals will sit remotely and work in EST, but will have flexibility of work schedule to start anytime between 6AM-9AM EST.You will be coding one of the following specialties and will be responsible for coding 45-60 cases per day:
    • OB
    • Radiology - MRI/CT/PET and simple diagnostics
    • Anesthesia - preferably trained on critical care
    • Neurosciences - Neurosurgery and Neurology, primarily EM but would be great to have surgery background as wellYou will also be responsible for coding denials, assisting with coding audits and collaborating with teammates for complex cases and co-surgeries.In order to qualify for this role, you must hold an active CPC certification and must be certified through either HEMA or AAPCPay range for this role is $25-$35/hour.
