Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee.The Kansas City, MO Equipment Maintenance Lead will provide maintenance and technical support for manufacturing equipment in GMP manufacturing.-- The Equipment Maintenance Lead will support manufacturing operations by providing quality, compliant, and reliable equipment service to minimize down-time and ensure optimum equipment operation.-- The employee will troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with manufacturing equipment.1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 5:45am - 2:15pmThe Role: - Lead troubleshooting activities for complex issues / failures of manufacturing equipment
- Communicate with 1st and 2nd shift technicians to ensure successful shift handoffs
- Provide support for Validation, Calibration and Preventative Maintenance of all GMP and Non-GMP equipment and systems
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on laboratory, manufacturing and stability storage equipment and systems
- Perform equipment modifications as needed
- Other duties as assignedThe Candidate:
- High School Diploma, required - Technical/vocational training and/or trade school, preferred
- 10 years of experience performing equipment maintenance in a pharmaceutical or other manufacturing environment, required
- Experience with service and repair of all Manufacturing equipment, required
- Experience with service and repair of electrical equipment, required
- Understanding of mechanical systems, required
- Ability to read schematic diagrams for troubleshooting, preferred
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, climb up/down ladders, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-50 poundsWhy You Should Join Catalent:
