Labor Finders in St. Louis is looking to hire experienced *MIG* */ STICK* *WELDERS *for long-term opportunities at multiple locations in the area.* *Position:* Welder / Fabricator* *Location: *Multiple* *Pay:* $20-$23 / Hour* *Start Date:* ASAP* *Length: *Temp-To-Hire Opportunity* *Days:* Various options* *Shift: *1st / 2nd Shifts*Job Duties may include but are not limited to: ** Using hand-held or remotely controlled welding equipment to join or cut metal parts, or fill holes, indentations, or the seams of metal products.* Studying blueprints, sketches, or specifications and calculating dimensions to be welded.* Inspecting structures or materials to be welded and monitoring the welding process to avoid overheating.* Maintaining equipment and machinery.* Working outdoors, often in inclement weather, on a scaffold or high platform.* May also work indoors in a confined indoor area designed to contain sparks and glare.* Lifting heavy objects, working in awkward positions while bending, stooping, or standing to work overhead* Be detailed oriented, have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and ability to focus on job responsibilities* Have manual dexterity and the ability to steadily hold a torch in one place* Have good physical stamina and the ability to endure long periods of standing or making repetitious movements.* Carry or lift heavy objects and to squat, kneel down, bend, or crawl in awkward positions.* Learn to use a variety of welding equipment and procedures, and electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)*** Minimum 18 years of age.* Minimum 1 year of previous MIG Welding experience.* Ability to pass a welding test (must have own welding gloves / hood).* Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to lifting up to 75 lbs.* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.* Additional requirements and/or screening may apply.* E-Verify will be used for employment authorization purposes.*For more information or to show interest in applying, please respond here OR call Labor Finders in St. Louis for IMMEDIATE consideration: *(636) 287-3709._Labor Finders is an equal opportunity employer.
