Team Overview Branch Compensation is responsible for the timely & accurate payment of all elements of Financial Advisor Compensation including Commissions, New FA Compensation, Trimester Bonus, Travel Award Program, etc. Branch Compensation is a fast paced, highly complex environment with each associate responsible for many key processes throughout the month. Therefore, understanding upstream and downstream impacts of Financial Advisor Compensation, the ability to plan, organize and prioritize, think strategically and solve problems from routine to complex are crucial to the role. What You'll Do - Responsible for timely and accurate payment of all elements of Financial Advisor Compensation and execution of Profit and Loss statements
- Provide adequate service to our branch teams, service areas, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure adequate controls are in place and operating effectively
- Complete monthly journal entries and GL account reconciliations to ensure all Compensation related expense is accurately reflected on the Firm's Financial Statements
- Build relationships and collaborate with department stakeholders to ensure work that flows between teams, departments, and divisions is received timely and accurately
- Understand upstream and downstream impacts to decisions being made to evolve a process, make an exception, assess a production issue, etc.
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with our product team on identifying requirements for efforts as well as user acceptance testing What Experience You'll Need
