Quality Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Manufacturing Plant EnvironmentLocation: Wentzville, MOShift Hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Second Shift)Employment Type: Contract to Hire (Hourly Pay Rate + Overtime at 1.5x pay after 40 hours)Open to Direct Hire/FTEOn-Site PositionResponsibilities:As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality within our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities include:Supervising Quality Employees:Coordinate and oversee workers engaged in inspecting and testing assembled components, parts, vehicles, and subassemblies as they progress through various assembly stages.Review quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications, and production schedules to determine the best approach for inspections and tests.Address work-related issues by collaborating with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel.Enforcing Quality Procedures:Interpret and enforce all quality procedures for plant personnel.Train team members on quality procedures.Ensure strict adherence to established company quality policies, practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and federal regulations.Materials Quality:Verify the quality of materials purchased, processed, manufactured, and distributed by Wentzville.Shift Coordination:Coordinate activities with the off-shift Supervisor to maintain seamless operations.Laboratory Oversight:Supervise laboratory personnel performing routine and specialized technical procedures.Evaluate work performed and address procedural and technical laboratory challenges.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree (required)Certifications: Relevant certifications such as QCMS/QRMP, ISO, FSSC, ASQ, etc.Skills:Proficiency in quality systems, statistical processes, and policiesFamiliarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and HACCPKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures, FDA standards, and quality systemsExperience:Demonstrated ability to independently resolve operational issuesCommitment to punctuality and excellence in job performanceJoin our team and contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processesPlease send qualified resume to: kbarrymore judge.com More...
