Overview:

Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: Requires high school education or equivalent. Must be a graduate of an accredited two year program in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Requires minor nursing skills.
• Certifications: Must be certified by A.R.R.T. in Radiography. Must have ARRT Advanced Level certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or working towards certification. Must have BLS - Basic Life Support
• Preferred Certifications: ARRT (R) (MR) or eligible
