Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. Boeing Global Services (BGS) is a dedicated services business focused on the needs of Global Defense, Space, Commercial, business and general aviation customers. In this position the candidate with develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. The team is seeking a future technical leader to join the team as an understudy to learn from current technical leadership. The program has unique technical challenges and a wide variety of technical scope.The successful candidate will be responsible to provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of a variety of avionics. The team supports the repair of aircraft components. The engineering team designs, acquires, coordinates set-up, provides training and produces test procedures needed to successfully repair avionics components. Job requirements include supporting the Automated Test Stations and ancillary equipment used to test the serviceability of avionic components. - Experience in support of a repair environment utilizing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is considered a plus but is not required. This engineering role provides services support Test Program Set design from requirements through validation. Computer programing skills with test equipment is a plus.Supports the development and documentation of electrical test program set environment. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performs detail design development and modification of electrical system installations. Performs integration at system or component level and modification of avionics systems on support equipment. Assists in preparing technical documents for electrical components and systems. - Designs, acquires, coordinates set-up, provides training and produces test procedures needed to successfully overhaul and repair electronic components
- Prepares technical documents for electrical components and systems
- Develops, reviews, analyzes, and maintains software in support of testing avionicsThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. - This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic -Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
