As a Manufacturing CI/QA Intern, you will get to learn alongside Duke's team of Continuous Improvement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations leaders to see how CI/QA supports planning the practices of manufacturing, Lean/CI, and Quality auditing to produce quality products with the optimum expenditure of capital.

The focus of this role for Summer 2024 will be to participate in the activities of the CI and QA activities of the department, and utilize this knowledge to update and revise our SharePoint online toolkit to best support the business. You will gain valuable practical experience in capital goods manufacturing, and have an opportunity to contribute and make a difference!

This is a paid onsite internship.

Ideal requirements:

Student enrolled in IT, Engineering, or Industrial Tech or other related degree program
Proficient and experienced using Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); prefer Advanced/Expert-level SharePoint experience.
Good communication skills - Verbal and written
