Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking skilled and experienced Handyman/Facilities Technician to join our team.Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pmThis position is responsible for assisting in the repair our facilities equipment including the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, grounds keeping, and indoor and outdoor building repair.Your responsibilities will include:Installs and removes office furniture.Maintains maintenance records for facilities related projects.Repairs flooring and walls as necessary.Assists with plumbing installation and maintenance.Assists with airline installation and maintenance.Assists with the installation of ductwork.Completes painting projects as necessary.Changes air filters inside and outside of rooms.Performs preventative maintenance on equipment such as checking oil, inspecting wear parts, air filters, etc.Complies with company safety practices.Perform other duties as assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Safety Protocol:Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.Correct or report any observed safety hazards.Support safety policies and programs.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary from time to time.Qualifications:Education / Experience / Certifications:High School Diploma or GED.1-3 years experience working in a facilities maintenance role.Skills Required:Must have moderate mechanical aptitude.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out interactions furnished in written or oral form.Ability to define problems and establish facts.Attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.Ability to work on cross functional teams and independently as necessary.
