Overview M Health Fairview Ridges, located in Burnville, MN, is looking for a dedicated Patient Care Supervisor to help lead the Emergency Room team! Are you ready to join this exciting group of people? The Emergency Room Patient Care Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Manager/Director with department operations. This nursing leadership includes supervision of personnel and projects as delegated. About our Emergency Department: -
The department is a 45 bed Level 3 Trauma Center. We deliver care to an average of 181 patients daily for a yearly census of approximately 66,000 and growing! -
Team members include Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, ER Techs, Health Unit Coordinators, Transport, and Case Managers. -
Our Emergency Department team provides care for a diversified population of all age distributions (infant to geriatrics) and all problem types in a very lively Emergency Room. This is a full time salaried position. Partners with Manager/Director to supervise/leads day-to-day or shift-to-shift operations to ensure support of the mission, vision, values and goals of the organization. -
Assists Manager/Director to plan, lead, coordinate and evaluate patient care activities including staffing, resource management, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and financial management. -
Prioritizes assignments to assure timely, productive, and efficient use of resources. -
Assists NM to run equipment inventory and supply management within operational budget. -
Collaborates with Nursing, Provider leadership and other team members to implement and evaluate standards of practice. -
Collects and analyzes quality data and applies process improvement methodology to insure deliver of safe and quality patient care. -
Assists with department change and acts a change agent in of system change, procedure change and process changes. -
