As a Sr. Advanced ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing customer technical support for Honeywell's Space Microelectronics portfolio of Radiation-Hardened ICs. This includes supporting products, processes, and technologies in alignment with the organization's business strategies. You will also play a key role in developing new products and processes to support business objectives. Responsibilities: - Lead efforts to map customer designs into Honeywell's ASIC technology - Define timing constraints for IC designs - Conduct simulations and code synthesis - Perform test insertion and provide test support - Offer customer support throughout the design process - Prepare documentation related to ASIC design - Mentor junior engineers U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. -Compensation & Benefits: Non-Incentive Salary Range $118,000-$178,000 For benefits information, please visit - -Current employees may visit HR Direct. Hybrid 3 days in/2 days out -MUST HAVE - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - Minimum of five years of experience in ASIC development and deployment - Willingness to work on-site at the Honeywell Plymouth, MN facility (zip code 55441) WE VALUE - General understanding of ASIC concepts and design - Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams - Background in BIST, Design For Test (DFT), physical synthesis, static timing analysis, and/or power analysis - Direct experience with Synopsys toolset (ICC2, PrimeTime, Lynx) is a plus - In-depth knowledge of logic synthesis and functional verification, and how constraints are used throughout the design flow - Strong background in Linux and scripting languages - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and data organization skills - Self-starter with a strong initiative - Strong technical problem-solving skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and web navigation Tools Used: - Synopsys Design Compiler - Synopsys PrimeTime - Synopsys DFT Compiler - Synopsys VCS - Synopsys TetraMAX - Synopsys Formality - Mentor ModelSim - Tessent MemoryBIST Additional Information |
